Retention

The retention phase is a lifetime maintenance program. We will monitor your retention phase for approximately three years, followed by a self-maintenance program. Your final orthodontic result depends on your retainers, so follow through with the hard work you have already put in.

Our orthodontists will assess you to determine the best suited retainer for your needs. In most circumstances, patients receive an upper clear removable wrap around retainer (not easily visible) and a fixed wire on the inside of your lower front six teeth.
