Sometimes only limited braces are needed instead of a full set of orthodontic braces. Partial braces are appropriate for some orthodontic needs, such as teeth crowding or spacing in one area of the mouth. For example, if you have a significant gap between your upper front teeth, but the rest of your teeth are straight and your bite is appropriately aligned, then partial braces on the top front four teeth may solve the problem.
Typically, being treated with partial braces requires less time to produce straighter teeth or close gaps, and costs less than full braces.
Partial braces, like full braces, can be metal or ceramic, with colorful ligatures (bands) or clear bands. They are not the right option for everyone, though. Please consult with Dr Hall to determine if partial braces will work for you.
