Dr Poon

Dr Poon was born in Hong Kong and educated in Melbourne, where he completed his secondary and tertiary schooling.  

Dr Poon received his Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Melbourne in 2002 and his postgraduate orthodontic training at the University of Pennsylvania in 2008. He also completed his Masters in Oral Biology at the University of Pennsylvania in 2008.

After his return to Melbourne in 2008, Dr Poon joined Dr Hall at the Caulfield practice and eventually moved to the Southland rooms where he now practices.

Dr Poon has been treating patients with Invisalign since 2003 and worked for Dr Hall at the Invisalign Centre prior to obtaining his postgraduate training in orthodontics. Dr Poon has a wealth of knowledge in Invisalign, lingual braces, early treatment, and interdisciplinary treatment cases where he works together with other dental specialists to obtain the best possible result for the patient. Martin specialises in both adult and child orthodontics.

Dr Poon is a member of the Australian Dental Association, and the American Association of Orthodontists. He is fluent in both English and Chinese (Cantonese).
